# Team setup

> Configure coaches, team details, and the settings that shape your workflow.

# Set up your team

Open **Settings** in the sidebar to manage the team profile, members, billing, and integrations.

## Team profile

Use **Settings → Team** to keep the team name and details current. These details identify the team throughout the application and in coach-facing work.

## Members and roles

Invite each coach from **Settings → Members**. Give people the least access they need:

* **Owner** manages the team and billing.
* **Head coach** can manage the team’s coaching workflow.
* Other coaching roles support the team without receiving every administrative permission.

  Meet import and export are restricted to owners and head coaches when the team’s plan includes the feature.

## Team-specific settings

Club teams can use USA Swimming-related fields and integrations. High-school teams use class year and school-oriented eligibility fields. Lane4 HQ only shows settings that apply to the selected team type.
